A curated collection of noncoding RNA loci in the
WS130
version of the C. elegans genome. All loci reflect published
transcripts, trusted computational predictions, or
experimentally-verified sequences. This collection differs from the
WS130 WormBase "wormrna130.rna" file:
it does not include protein-coding pseudogenes and
hypothetical noncoding transcripts, but does include many loci clearly related to known ncRNAs
(as indicated by WUBLASTN2.0 or INFERNAL matches to Rfam models). Some
of the latter may be ncRNA pseudogenes. Wherever possible, references are made
to the authoritative WormBase features, GenBank entries, the microRNA Registry,
and publications listed in PubMed.
